Meridian Products has adopted and fully supports the commitment to continually improve its quality management system by reviewing the effectiveness of our operation from top to bottom. Quality objectives are communicated and reviewed throughout the organization and all employees understand the importance of continuous improvement of the quality management system. Our goal is to deliver defect free products of the highest quality on time- time after time. Periodic audits are performed to ensure the viability of our program and to ensure we are in compliance with the requirements of the ISO 9001: 2008 standard. Meridian Products’ Quality Management System Manual provides the framework through which this process of review and continuous improvement is implemented.
This policy has been developed, approved and stressed by top management. The policy is thoroughly explained and emphasized during orientation training given to all new and existing employees.
Meridian’s Quality Assurance Policy is enforced through the use of QA practices throughout manufacturing processes. Quality Assurance is a structured method of defining and establishing the steps necessary to assure that a product satisfies the customer. Typical tools used in this process are Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), Production Control Plan, Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Cpk analysis of critical dimensions. Meridian Products’ experienced staff works with the customer closely during the planning phase to allow us to better understand the quality requirements of their parts. By working with the customer up-front, we are able to develop a plan to identify critical requirements of the product.
Since 1997 we have held an ISO certification, recently certified to the requirements of ISO 9001:2008.
